Your step-by-step guide to setting up XemTrack from order to first live position.

This guide walks you through everything — from ordering your tracker to seeing it live on the map. Follow the steps below in order. You should not need to search the rest of the documentation until you are up and running.

Your setup journey

1. Order your devices

   — buy online at xemtrack.com.au using the email address you will use in the app.

2. Receive your delivery

   — check the box. Each device includes a SIM card where applicable.

3. Install the SIM and tracker

   — fit the SIM (Micro size for the OBD GPS Tracker), power on the device, and confirm the status lights look correct. See the Device status lights guide for full details.

4. Subscribe to a plan

   — using the same email as your order, choose one or more plans that cover the number of devices you are tracking. Your account is created when you subscribe, and a welcome email with a password setup link is sent automatically.

5. Sign in to the app

   — open the Set up your password link in your welcome email, choose a password, then sign in at app.xemtrack.com.au with your purchase email.

6. Wait for your device to come online

   — open the Devices list and wait until your tracker shows as online. If it does not, check the status lights again.

7. Explore the app

   — the interface is straightforward. Use the guides below when you want to go deeper on a feature.

Once your devices are online, you can:

• See live positions on the map and review past trips.
• Get alerts when something important happens (speed, leaving an area, and more).
• Receive reports summarising driving and fleet activity.
• Use AI agents for plain-English fleet reviews.
